With over a decade of experience across both public and private sectors, he brings strategic insight and practical expertise to RIDC’s mission of reshaping Malaysia’s recreational and tourism landscape.

He has driven key projects in corporate strategy, trade facilitation, and cross-border investment, and played a pivotal role in regional development during his tenure at the East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC). His work spans infrastructure planning, policy innovation, and programmes designed to deliver long-term, community-focused growth.

At RIDC, Heng Siang is leading projects that integrate eco-tourism, community engagement, and smart infrastructure. His ability to align global perspectives with local needs positions Malaysia to become a regional leader in nature-based tourism.
