Letter From Our Chairman

Malaysia is a country shaped by nature. From rainforests and highland valleys to coastal stretches and rich cultural heritage, the landscape offers endless opportunities to explore, recharge, and connect.

Yet, much of that potential remains underdeveloped. There is a growing need to create camping and recreational spaces that are not only accessible but also well-planned and aligned with the values of sustainability and quality.

RIDC was established with that goal in mind. As more people look to nature for rest and inspiration, we see a powerful opportunity for Malaysia to lead in outdoor tourism across the region. We aim to support that movement by setting new standards for campsite planning, infrastructure, and overall guest experience.

We believe in development that works in harmony with the environment and uplifts local communities. Through collaboration with public agencies, investors, and tourism partners, we are building a network of recreational destinations that reflect the very best of Malaysia.

This is more than a business. It is a shared effort to grow responsibly, create value for future generations, and place Malaysia at the heart of a changing global travel culture.

I invite you to be part of this journey. Together, we can shape a future where outdoor living becomes a lasting source of connection, opportunity, and national pride.

Sincerely,

Bernhard Schutte
