Thomas Bernthaler is a nature enthusiast, experienced entrepreneur, and advocate for sustainable living. With a strong background in international business and strategic advisory, Thomas brings cross-industry insights to RIDC’s vision of transforming Malaysia’s outdoor tourism landscape.

He currently serves as Managing Director across several organisations, including TAPiO Management Advisory, HappyWater, and AsiaRV, where he leads initiatives focused on innovation, sustainability, and lifestyle-driven experiences. His broad portfolio reflects a commitment to projects that prioritise well-being, environmental harmony, and community impact.

Outside of the boardroom, Thomas is most at home in nature — whether he’s out hiking, exploring new trails, or spending time with his beloved dogs. His personal love for the outdoors and animals shapes his belief in creating spaces that are both enriching for people and respectful to the environment.
